What must not be offered

Items that are unsafe, illegal or not yours to lend do not belong on the platform. The goal is for people to rent things safely and fairly, not to run into problems that could have been avoided from the beginning.

Why this matters

If a listing is risky, misleading or unclear, it can harm both sides. People need to trust that what they book matches the reality and can be used safely.

What does not belong on the platform

  • Items that are illegal or would break the law.
  • Dangerous items where lending could easily put health or safety at risk.
  • Items that do not belong to you or that you do not have permission to list.
  • Listings with false descriptions, misleading photos or hidden defects.
  • Broken items that cannot be used safely.

Misleading listings are a problem too

The problem is not always the item itself. It can also be the way it is presented. If the photos make it look better than it really is, if important limitations are missing or if you hide defects, the other person cannot make a fair decision.

It is always better to share more honest detail than less. Trust comes mainly from clarity and honesty.

If you are unsure

Ask yourself: is it safe, legal, really mine to lend and does the description match reality? If not, do not put it on the platform.
